Established in 2019 by designer Brenda Hojgaard, MONO BÍAS is a Hong Kong-based contemporary luxury womenswear brand and an exploration of simplicity. Formerly known as OctoberEighteen, the brand has evolved through a decade of creative refinement into a clearer, more distilled vision of what it has always stood for.

The name represents our two core pillars: Mono - monochromatic palettes that highlight texture over pattern, where the weight of a fabric and the fall of a hem speak louder than decoration. Bias - a centuries old technique that releases cloth from the grain, allowing it to move and flow naturally with the body.

Each piece exists in the balance between structure and softness. We believe in precision and clarity over excess, choosing materials for their integrity and silhouettes for their permanence. Designed for longevity, our work is a response to the body: Garments shaped to fall, shift, and move with ease.

Every garment is handcrafted in our Hong Kong atelier by skilled seamstresses who honour the discipline of precision tailoring.
